On Friday 6th March 2026, we welcomed back 22 Old Boys (plus three delightful partners) to the school, for lunch, tours and a well deserved trip down 'memory lane'. Hosted by the Chair of Governors and ex Head of School, Malcolm Streatfield (76), Chair of the Icenians, Luca Feser (12), Headmaster, Simon Cooke, Heads of School Evelyn Mulhall, Yve Mitchell and Deputies, Ethan Large and Tilly Bell, a delicious lunch was provided (See photo in gallery) and much hilarity, fun and heckling took place. With a cheeky twinkle in all their eyes, speeches were given about the ambitions of the Icenians, much needed help required for the proposed 'Reg Blackwood' Clock Restoration and Foundation appeals and then for attendance at future events. The 'Boys' were well behaved and most managed to 'clean their plates' as well. The list of attendees was: Geoff Barham (68), Keith Izatt (61), Mike Plant (69), Charles Hewson (68), Graham Howes (64), Barry Philp (63), Chandra Patel (71), Donald Syme (71), Richard Bethell (64), Gerald Montague (66), Steve Mack (68), Peter Tallowin (68), James Walker (68), Jim Parish (68), Joe King (64), John Hicks (64) Vincent Kendrick (64), Dudley Stammers (64), Gerald Goucher (58), Tim Beare (64), Robin Clayton (69), Simon Clayton (70). Then a tour ended with a group photo. Can't wait for the next one and looking forward to the opening of the Reg Blackwood clock in the summer. See you soon fellas.
