Many thanks to all those who attended the Icenian Careers Fair 2024 at Langley Senior School.

Former Deputy Head Toby Salmon ('11) talked about his career in professional rugby, and the future. Former Head Boy Joe Plunkett ('21) spoke about his record-breaking season at Loughborough University; winning the BUCS league and becoming Loughborough’s all-time top try scorer.

Caitlin Nicholson ('21) covered her degree in Sports Psychology at Loughborough and also her experiences on the Secondary School Exchange in the USA. Rhys Marjoram ('23) spoke about being a Trainee Pilot and the next stages of his training in Malaga.

Charlotte Le May ('21) talked about becoming a Physiotherapist and her work with North Walsham Rugby Club. Harry Buckley ('09) has been in Australia, working as an Agricultural analyst. Ellie Davies ('13) is a solicitor at Leathes-Prior. Peter Lambert ('08) also popped in.

Holly Biss ('14), whose little sister Rosie is our new Deputy Head of School, talked all about being a paramedic. Adam Bales ('18) spoke about Apprenticeships and Poultec.

Former St Giles House Captain and Gap Student in Music, Holly Wright (,10) told all the students how to make it big at KPMG. Belinda Searle-Papathanasiou, whose son is in Year 8, came in to talk about being a Midwife (with some very graphic simulations)! James Hodgson (22) talked about his new career as an Estate Agent.

Ollie Lamb ('18), now working as an engineer at Canham Engineering, was able to tell students about his exciting career to date. Darcy Innis ('19), who works at Langley in HR, was able to explain what she does on a day-to-day basis and also talked about her Psychology Degree.

It was such a worthwhile event, and we feel very lucky to have such brilliant alumni. Please email Jon at jkempton@langleyschool.co.uk if you would like to come next year.
