News in brief |
They were at Taverham Hall (now Langley Prep School) together, and here they are back together again on the rugby pitch.
England player and Leicester Tigers scrum half Jack van Poortvliet (pictured right) left Langley with a scholarship to Oakham, before going on to become a professional rugby player. James Cherry (left) went to Norwich School after Taverham Hall and is now the Number 8 at Nottingham Rugby Club.
The pair were on opposite teams in a pre-season friendly and it's great to see the old school friends coming together after the game. Good luck to them both for the season ahead!
